So then the “protesters” set fire to the Wendy’s and blocked the fire trucks from getting there for 45 minutes. Makes sense to me.
Democrat logic, "Something happened here that offends me, burn it down."
And how does the Wendy's even become the target of their anger? Like you said, Democrat/liberal logic.

Probably a good number of black citizens of the area now have no job because rioters burned down their place of employment.

Wendy's was a target of opportunity, because they know what happens if they attack cops. So they focus on a restaurant for "daring" to call cops on this guy. If I was that franchise owners I'd level the place and move it out of that area. Fuck rebuilding that.

Interesting that they get to follow different rules than the rest of the citizenry.
So, am I justified in shooting someone that points a taser at me?
Interesting that you left out fighting with them, stealing their weapon, and then actually firing it at them.
In any previous era, that was call for a ‘dust-up’ and a (probably) severe beating. Now, apparently, with our snowflake pussy domestic military cops, they can just mow you down for anything.
SJWs are a natural consequence of corporatism.

Kind of interesting. It was known to be a non-lethal weapon, so yeah... they don’t have a right to shoot.

It’s odd that we’ve just accepted that you’ll be dead for resisting arrest.
It's a non-lethal weapon, but it the cop gets tased he is then helpless to defend himself in the presence of someone who fought him, took his weapon, an then used it against him. Now that person can come up to him take his gun and shoot him while he lies there helpless.

Fuck that. He resisted arrest (saw the cell phone video) by punching and kicking officers. Then he stole one of their tasers. Then he ran and shot the taser back at one of them. Sorry, you do all of that and then shoot a weapon at a cop you are now open game to being shot.
Interesting that they get to follow different rules than the rest of the citizenry.

Yes, you can claim self defense. In most circumstances you can make a great case and a prosecutor wont even bother.

And what happens if the guy dies or is severly injured in that beating? They'll face the same if not worse charges for using a gun. The Chief would still resign. Wendy's would still be crispy. Nothing would change. Your white neoliberal soccer mom ass can understand that, cant you?

By anything you mean punching, kicking and all out battery?

Come on man - if all he did was take the tazer and point it at the cop - sure, I could see that. But in the middle of a violent encounter at night? Obviously he hit the cop hard enough to where the cop was dazed enough for the dude to take the tazer. Who in their right mind aims a tazer at a cop you just punched?

I am all for reforming the cops - but this is simply not a clear cut case.

Btw - back in the day merely running from arrest made you a felon which means you could be shot on sight - I don’t want to go back to that - but battening a cop?

Again, "Something happened here that offended me."

They weren't going to take on the cops, they were going to take on the place where what offended them happened though. Screw the logic... muy feelz is all that matters.

Not just aimed, he fired. You can see it go off right about the time he runs behind the red car. What if he hit made contact with the officer and put him on the ground? He was what, 10 paces or so from the officer. Do you want to wait and see if he comes back to take the gun?

He fought a fucking idiotic DUI charge that he probably would have been out on a few hours after the arrest. Instead, he takes on two cops, attacks them, de-arms one, flees, and instead of dropping the tazer and continuing to run, turns and fires on the officer.

Darwin Gold Star Award winner right there.
