I had covid

with a 0.4% reinfection rate in a sample size of 63 million

I have more protection than the vaccine provides from getting a bigger dose of the live virus to build up my anti-bodies

and with adverse side effects occuring in people who already have immunity

pretty sure I don't need the vaccine

at my age I judge the covid to be plenty lethal enough, exponentially more dangerous than the vaccine

if you get a bad dose and they have to intubate you, that's a one way trip, you ain't coming back

so I have no compunction about getting the shot, but I still have 3 weeks to wait in line

I'm more concerned about my wife, she is younger, so she has to wait much longer

my wife however is more concerned about me, afraid in fact

so I have a duty as her husband to try to allay those fears, even if I was worried about the vaccine, but I'm not
