Anybody on here willing to talk about getting the jab if they’ve had one?


I’m having a hard time convincing myself to take it when the risk of dying from Covid (for me is low) and the risk of the Jab is unknown by definition....

Got my antibodies blood draw today. Had to go through a doctor. He had never prescribed one before?

at my age I judge the covid to be plenty lethal enough, exponentially more dangerous than the vaccine

if you get a bad dose and they have to intubate you, that's a one way trip, you ain't coming back

so I have no compunction about getting the shot, but I still have 3 weeks to wait in line

I'm more concerned about my wife, she is younger, so she has to wait much longer

my wife however is more concerned about me, afraid in fact

so I have a duty as her husband to try to allay those fears, even if I was worried about the vaccine, but I'm not

First shot, nothin. Just a little sore arm. Second shot, after about 12 I got really sick for about 8 hours, it was like a really bad flu, hot then cold, achy and I couldn't sleep. The next 12 hours sucked but not awful. The Day after that it was very mild symptoms and by the third day I was completely back to normal.

Makes me proud. My only regret is that there aren’t more like-minded people on this forum. I’ve tried & tried & tried; I even advertised it in my bio in the Voter’s pamphlet twice: presumably a quarter million people have been told this place exists? I only got 1.6% of the vote but that’s still a lot of people. One of the mysteries of life I can’t figure out?

By the new rules laid down by the Oligarchs, I can't get the Jab.

I'm a white male, I have privilege. I can't morally get the jab until every woman, BIPOC, and gender bender does. I'm at the end of the line for the safest, most tested, life saving vaccines in history.
