After the appointment to DIA chief didn't work for Flynn and he got fired By Obama, the whole thing likely embittered him. So much to seek advisor status to an unconventional Republican candidate. Why Flynn went for the plea deal is quite obvious: Flynn had gotten his moron son involved with this and likely didn't want him to go to jail. Hence pleading guilty for a minor conviction and now spilling his guts to Mueller was the option.



That Clapper is commenting this is little ironic, btw.

Remember how people didn't believe it to be real when Flynn's lawyer publicly stated that Flynn "had a story to tell". But those who tell it first get the plea bargain and lighter sentences...
