Wrestling is cheaper, but yeah grappling, that'll help him get rid of some excess energy, bet that.
Stop with promoting violence, when is it going to be ok to talk about rake violence in this country?

Also a great excuse to physically restrain your kid. "it's practice."

How his takedown defense though? Guys who have good guards sometimes get lazy and let their opponents control when the fight hits the mat, because they are overconfident in their guard game, it's quite common. It's nice to have a sweet full guard game, but pulling guard is not that effective of a tactic, especially in a real fight where the opponent knows what he's doing when he's on top. In grappling exchanges you generally want top position most of the time, and that's why wrestling is so important.

Knew it. You can tell the weakness in a grapplers game by knowing their strengths sometimes, you're son is not alone in this regard, as I said, it's quite common. Guys who have good guards usually aren't as worried about getting back to their feet or even stopping a takedown in the first place, because they have more tools to deal with that situation, which is why guys who lack a solid guard game tend to focus on those skills more than dudes who are natural full guard players, because if they don't, they keep losing from their back more often than natural full guard players, and that's no fun, so they often adapt because there is more incentive to do so.

So, I took a day off and saw this thread this afternoon. I read the title, and happily clicked, expecting some

Instead, I get a bunch of kibitzing about post-modern neurotic child rearing from school-marmies and non-breeders.

My initial thought was "insert by helo or just walk in to avoid alerting the enemy at the objective?", but whatevs, I just play it by ear.

Got to roll with the punches, it's not like there is a shortage of threads about chucking people out of helicopters around this place.

It's not like there's a shortage of threads about parents complaining about other parents around this place neither, which is why I was hoping it was going to be about Advanced Mobility Operations instead.
