One of the more puzzling little nuggets in the entire coup is why did the FBI bring in Bob Mueller to interview for the FBI Director job when he had already exceeded his maximum number of years allowed in the post. Mueller had already served 2 more years than allowed as FBI Director. He was technically ineligible. Some have guessed that it was a way for McCabe to be able to have Mueller interview/interrogate Trump before he even became the prosecutor.
