Plenty of room in our bloated military budget.
Taxes in America are more related to some sort of hyper Protestant self flaggelation complex, because it's not like you're actually being taxed for the Pentagon, that's all treasuries, you don't really pay the freight on that, a trillion dollar national security budget, a trillion dollar deficit, that's how that goes.

In the end, King Dollah just prints money, you are only taxed for "moral" reasons.
Whaaaaa? Are you against Murcians paying their "fair share?"

Otherwise, who's gonna take care of the subsidy of the hard-ankles on the Gulf of Mexico who need dem gibs on flood insurance bail-outs? Well, I guess we can just QE that problem away also.

Well because we don't let people starve here we pay taxes to support people who aren't paid a fair wage.

If we paid a fair wage and subsequently lowered taxes, because of the smaller burden on the system. The free market could do it much more efficiently than a bunch of bureaucrats.

Who sets the "fair wage" for you all?

What's the "fair wage" for a doctor in your place, and who says what it is?

What's the "fair wage" for a welder in your place, and who says what it is?

What's the "fair wage" for a school teacher in your place, and who says what it is?

What's the "fair wage" for a auto mechanic in your place, and who says what it is?

What and who, that's what I want to know.

80% of your personal income tax revenue is paid by people making in excess of $200,000, which only represents 40% of the governments revenue, so throw another $1.2 trillion on the deficit, and nobody has to pay income tax at all.

Vic says he wants more gravy from the empire, I'm simply telling him there is far more gravy around than he suspects.

The only reason he is not allowed to have it, is not the Corporations, it's the Church Lady.

A livable minimum wage is different than dictating what a brain surgeon makes.

You trolling?

Those two figures do not conflict.

No I'm not, not by that much, 78% is paid by the 100k tax bracket and above, 22% is paid by the $99K and below.

But since the whole PIT pot is just $1.5 trillion, it's moot, since that's actually just walking around money for King Dollah.
