The long term politician isn't the most fanatical Trump lackey. Hence I cannot see why Lieberman would be in any way making the Russia-investigation to "go away".

Former Senator Joe Lieberman is apparently no longer under consideration for FBI director, a source familiar with the matter confirms

One potential complication -- the Washington Post reported Tuesday that Mr. Trump hired Marc Kasowitz as his private attorney to deal with the federal investigation into Russia's interference in the 2016 U.S. election, and Lieberman has been working as a senior counsel at Kasowitz's law firm for several years.

Darn! As Trump picked his trusted attorney to be a his Private attorney, he couldn't get a guy from the same law firm to head the FBI.

Now here Trump actually does make sense.

Note that the lawyers are there for the Presidency. Not just for Donald.

Now Trump has known this lawyer for a long time, hence he will likely listen to him. If he listens to anybody.

Loyalty is extremely important for Trump. I think that's the reason he has been so sluggish to position people into his administration. As we have now learnt from incidents not only with Comey, but also with the DCI Coates and the NSA director Rogers been asked to make the Russia thing to go away.

FBI has proof of Clinton-Lynch collusion. Republicans sitting on document for whatever reason. Before it can be made public "anonymous" sources "leak" that its fake news.

In the supposed email, Wasserman Schultz claimed Lynch had been in private communication with a senior Clinton campaign staffer named Amanda Renteria during the campaign. The document indicated Lynch had told Renteria that she would not let the FBI investigation into Clinton go too far, according to people familiar with it.

How do we know its fake? Because the people accused of collusion said it was...

Wasserman Schultz and Benardo said in separate interviews with The Washington Post that they do not know each other and have never communicated. Renteria, in an interview, and people familiar with Lynch’s account said the two also do not know each other and have never communicated.
