Being a Director is weird.

It's my second day. Yesterday, I was thinking, "I better ask someone if it's ok for me to do x". Then I realized, "I'm the guy. I'm the guy I would ask."

It's surreal, but I'm glad I work where I do. My bosses were jokingly commenting yesterday about hoarding guns for the invasion from the border, so it's a huge improvement from my last job at a progressive university.

My wife and I are about to buy our first house together. We've rented since we were first married, so we're excited to be able to actually own something. And it'll give the kids more room, which we desperately need.
congratulations, sir

sunshine & blue skies, warm like spring, kicking back on my deck with a beer & some government dope

clean sheets, hot showers, warm pussy, doesn't get any better than that

No wildfires this summer tho, plz.
Between California and Canada the air quality in WA is like riding in a limo full of cigar smokers every July/August.

the only downside is winter, otherwise we are living in a paradise

and thanks to the central banks juicing the markets in the face of technological deflation, our property is now over a million dollars valuation

it honestly wasn't even a bad winter by Canadian standards, rather mild actually, god damn global warming ftw

Not a bad deal.
The mre you drive your gas-guzzling sports car, the warmer the globe gets, the higher your property value goes.

the combination of low interest rates and white flight from Toronto has incited a real estate feeding frenzy

we thought we would make a tidy profit by getting in ahead of the wave, but not this much

not that the market in Toronto isn't hot

a semi detached just went on sale for $1.5 million, sold the next day for $2.1 million

you can't go wrong buying property in America

because on the global aggregate, property in America is actually undervalued

Ohhhhhhh I dunno about all that.
We got tens of thousands of people living anywhere they want in Seattle for absolutely free.
Sure - legitimately buying a house is expensive.
But if you have a tent you can pretty much live anywhere you want here.
