Re: Authentic America
Our nation was forged by these values
God
Family
Community
Country
Not by some Monarch, or nifty academic utopian promise, but by small, strong communities, families with faith in God standing up and throwing the monarchy off their backs. It's VDHs Yeoman farmer values.

It's bad enough that no American can pronounce my birthplace properly but at least you could learn how to spell Worcester.TheReal_ND wrote: ↑Wed Jan 16, 2019 2:37 pm
I know. They use vinegar base. OKC is tomato based with worschester sauce. You have to go WAY north in Texas to find authentic molasses based KC BBQ and even then expect to wait in line around the next block.
Hint, think of PG Woodhouse's Bertie Wooster and you've pretty much got it.

Re: Authentic America
The traditional values of the yeoman farmers made them key figures in the republican vision for America. They also represented the majority of the farmers during the Revolutionary Era. In fact, along with the artisans, yeoman farmers made up the majority of the population during the American Revolution. They were also seen as the ideal Americans because they were hardworking virtuous citizens who did their work without exploiting others.
