"Individual v. collective" is a false dichotomy.

The question is: "voluntary v. compulsory."

Or, if you prefer, "voluntary v. rent-seeking armed-robbery mafia"
Guess how it became a "rent-seeking armed-robbery mafia"..

Hint: it started with one of Hamilton's ideas.
Hamilton had some doozies, alright.

The reality is that, when we transitioned to a standing army, the federal government -- and indeed state governments -- became an armed gang that extracts resources from the proles. When every voter is also in the military, that's not really the case so much.

Now.. I am not for fucking up a strong professional army just so people don't get fleeced by the state, myself. I would just make enfranchisement optional. All you have to do is enlist. I might even consider doing away with police and just making law enforcement a military role of some kind. That's just me, though.

It really is amazing how quickly Hamilton and his boy Washington consummated their counter-revolution.

The Whiskey Rebellion is really worthy of study.

Hogeland wrote a book about it that is pretty good. I must warn you it has some important historical discussion that might go over your head and confuse you a bit. You would probably be capable of understanding at least 60% of the book, which is nothing to be ashamed of...

As long as I’m king and have the final say, you guys can come up with any kind of government, or lack thereof, you want.

p.s. I am the most qualified ever so me being king doesn’t even require a discussion.

The ubermensch drink the finest whiskey, bonded and taxed. The inferior rotgut swill is drank by Lebensnwertes Leben who are too poor and pitiful to pay their taxes for their beverage. It is conceivable that this whiskey is so terrible that the government wouldn't even want to tax it, because it is beneath them to even associate with such filth.

Only one qualification counts when it comes to being the King.
Can you answer yes to this one question?

Was your father or Uncle the King?
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Both. Silly choices; polls should not provide a false dichotomy.
Why are all the Gods such vicious cunts? Where's the God of tits and wine?
