The Avs just had to come back from down 4-1 against Vancouver didn't they? Barrie with five points, MacKinnon with four points, and the game winning goal.

I think he could do some damage in the second season, but I still don't buy them as a contender yet, top heavy, will be different with the same team every night game planning one line and sending their dedicated checking line out to shadow it, anything is possible, but I would expect the Av's lack of depth to be exposed when everybody takes it next level.

None the less, the most important thing in the near term, is to shed the culture of losing before it becomes ingrained in the DNA, like you say, with Ottawa's pick in hand, might as well just go for it, all in.
