Skipped to a random spots throughout that dumpster fire of a speech. Every single time she was slandering Sessions. No wonder they censored her. Sessions should sue her as well.

Nah, there's rules. Senators are supposed to be the top tier. That's why they weren't popularly elected at first. They were supposed to be the example to follow, not like those Representatives who pander to the masses, and act like them. Rather than changing the rules so they can act like children, we should go the other way and abolish the 17th.pineapplemike wrote:Senators aren't allowed to slander other senators? That's weak, what a lame rule. I'm sure there is some context I'm missing, but being censored for talking shit to another senator isn't MAGA
I thought senators could talk for as long as they liked until a vote of cloture, is that what happened?

Sure, yeah I suppose we should expect a certain amount of decorum from the higher house of Congress, I can appreciate that. I still think it's lame though, I want blood, censorship is for snowflakes. Maybe we need a lesser amount of decorum from the House, that would be fine with me. Those videos of parliament yelling at each other are where it's at. Exciting shit, my kind of TV!Okeefenokee wrote:Nah, there's rules. Senators are supposed to be the top tier. That's why they weren't popularly elected at first. However, somehow, nobody thought that this would make it impossible to debate a Senator's confirmation for a cabinet post.
