Not sure, but if it is that fast it probably involves fasting.

He is doing the potato diet, like Penn Jillette.

Main problem is that losing fat that fast means he will have horrific loose skin. I'd only advise that if you literally will die from being fat, which was the case here given that he almost died in Feb.

The bigger hurdle will be to recover from the deficit without blowing up again. That is where most people go wrong after losing the weight. Reaching your goal is not even halfway through the ordeal. When people get fat, all sorts of shit is wrong inside and you have to fix your whole body.

Shoulder presses, push-ups, and handstand pushups (against a wall) will help build your shoulders. Also hit statics like planche progression, l-sit, etc. to build them up. Bridging, while extremely good for your back, will build your front delts like a motherfucker as well.

Your chest is starting to develop. Make sure your back develops at the same pace.

Your noob gains are only starting. You still have a ways to go before the fun ends and you have to struggle for every ounce of muscle gained. Enjoy it. It's a great time.
