If we defund the police, do we get our tax money back?
Because the plan seems to be "give taxes raised from citizens for policing to an activist organization".
I want my money back if the police are defunded.
I'm not funding BLM or other activist organizations with my taxes.

Bought an AR15 this weekend. Been wanting a gun forever but now it seems like a necessity. I cant believe what my country has become. This radical movement pisses me off. I'm a right leaning normie and I hope regular Americans feel the same as I do about the police. I'm not going to call the thug down the street and hope he sides with me. What's wrong with these people? Defund the police????its all in democratic cities. Fucking eat your own you commie bastards. But if it happens next door after the cities are barren they're coming here. Thus the AR.

Well I admit that didn't occur to me. More centralization would be interesting to watch. The Sheriffs tend to be much more strict than city cops.

I suspect what happened in Baltimore post freddy gray to occur. If it's not around City Hall, the stadiums, or the Inner Harbor, Rich white touristy areas you're not going to find a cop anywhere near.

Less cops will probably mean more deaths in those areas, predominantly "poc" areas... Until at some point enough have killed each other off that they "flatten the curve" of violence.

Big believer in self determination if that is what they want that is what they should get.
