That is a christian tradition. No problem with anyone doing that. A cop in uniform on duty? No, fuck no. The people that drone on and on about church and state and they want shit like this.PartyOf5 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 08, 2020 5:46 amIt's already come to this:

I suspect what happened in Baltimore post freddy gray to occur. If it's not around City Hall, the stadiums, or the Inner Harbor, Rich white touristy areas you're not going to find a cop anywhere near.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Mon Jun 08, 2020 7:31 amWell I admit that didn't occur to me. More centralization would be interesting to watch. The Sheriffs tend to be much more strict than city cops.clubgop wrote: ↑Sun Jun 07, 2020 11:40 pmNot just yet. When a local can't provide a service like that it reverts to the county. Hennepin county would take responsibility and where is the county seat? Minneapolis. City council is simply throwing their hands in the air and handing this whole mess to county. Cars will get repainted, uniforms changed but not much else. This is virtue signaling writ large.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Sun Jun 07, 2020 7:25 pmI can’t believe what I’m seeing... nicest city in America is about to go Mad Max.

Less cops will probably mean more deaths in those areas, predominantly "poc" areas... Until at some point enough have killed each other off that they "flatten the curve" of violence.clubgop wrote: ↑Mon Jun 08, 2020 7:41 amI suspect what happened in Baltimore post freddy gray to occur. Here's my question:
If we defund the police, do we get our tax money back?
Because the plan seems to be "give taxes raised from citizens for policing to an activist organization".
I want my money back if the police are defunded.
I'm not funding BLM or other activist organizations with my taxes.

That's exactly what the Democrats will vote for. No way they reduce taxes, they will try and give it to BLM and poc. Reparations!

Re: Seriously, no one is talking about the riots?
Interesting, ANTIFA/BLM go fucking nuts over a man dying. Startup riots in Democratic towns where the local (D) politicians let them have free reign over their town/city citing its OMB's fault. Week 2 see's calls for "Defunding the Police" and Minneapolis bends the knee while other Democrat leaders in towns and cities are booed off the stage. Pelosi and her stormtroopers bend the knee today after announcing a new police reform bill....
....then...out fo the smoke and fire....a HERO arises.....
Biden steps forward to claim that he does NOT support defunding but massive overhaul to the police and their actions (no thanks to the fact it's based on the '94 crime bill HE fucking created). And the MSM promotes it like the second fucking coming of Christ. I swear you cannot convince me that mainstream D's are buying this poorly staged shitshow.
Now that things are dying down, look for the warning of the COVID "second wave" in the next two weeks, probably even attempts by some dumbass Democrat Governor to try and lock down the state again. This time, however, I think they blew their wad with the first go and folks are not going to take it lightly and flat out refuse to close. When you are arresting barbers and fining them $1k a cut one week, then are seen dancing in a mob of thousands the next you've lost any sort of ground to fight on.
I think the Democratic party really has nowhere else to go. What's next, Civil War? We've seen these last two weeks that the only places burning and destroyed are (D) strongholds. My guess is they thought this would sweep the nation but when it seems to get to (R) towns/cities they see the leaders worked with the community organizers, had discussions, and for the most part, had peaceful demonstrations. This is like the last gasp of the current iteration of the Democratic party trying to stay relevant. People in (D) strongholds are waking up to their BS.
