just to be clear

the Russian "Sphere of Influence"

their Near Abroad Buffer Zone

that is not a law

nowhere is that written

in fact it is in contravention of the law

it's just something Josef Stalin and the Bolsheviks invented

so I don't recognize Russia's right to interfere in Ukraine in the slightest

and now Russia has foolishly crossed the Rubicon,

they have provoked a war which they are going to lose

and I shed no tears for them, since they are the Soviet aggressor again, by their own actions
The US or Canada don't have the same unspoken rules? Russian nukes in Mexico, Ok?

Hell, we saw what happened when missiles in Cuba that almost brought us here already.

Is it really same same or is it rules for thee but not for me?

Oh, ok. So, according to you, the 2nd most nuclear power is to be given no room to exist except with in their current box of borders. The West has the right to run up and delineate that box without any input from them?
basically, yeah

that's a requirement in the context of the MAD standoff we are in with the Kremlin at all times

they cannot invade Europe without America fighting a war against them

and now that is happening, so it's not according to me, this is the West saying it

yes

one rule for America, another rule for Russia

and that's backed up by thermonuclear weapons if Russia wants to take it there

realpolitik, since 1962

Americans love Canada and treat Canadians very well

so Canadians have no opposition to being in fortress America whatsoever

like even Justin Trudeau for example, Americans are trying to save me from him too

I don't consider Ukraine as the "West", never did. But yeah the "West" is saying that. The "West" was saying lots of shit that I don't buy, all too recently. Pee tapes, masks, vaccines, Freedom Truckers are terrorists, just to name a few. Now this.

But I understand your proclivities and biases. I never had to stand in direct opposition to them during the Cold War. I don't have that imprint.

Given all that I don't think that I would hitch my horse to Zelensky.

Nor would I pick this hill to die on. But that is just me.

since America is in a permanent nuclear standoff with Russia

and Russia is now threatening nuclear war

the Russians are imposing this on you, you have no choice in the matter

like if you are saying you want out of America's nuclear deterrence umbrella ?

your only option there would be to defect to the other side

no thanks, Russia is a hell hole

but if you want to go, nobody is stopping you

Get over to that other water fountain. I get it.

I'm ok with all of that, really. But let's just be honest about it.

We are king of the hill and you need to recognize. Except we aren't that no more. We got Biden and that goofy Jamaican as number 2 in command. Then we got Pelosi (?). Has America ever been weaker?

What's the price of heroin in Crimea?
If the insurgency goes well, they will enjoy the stability of the NATO rate for narcotics and sex "workers."

I make no bones about it

I am a Republican in the classical sense

free all the slaves everywhere, from Appomattox Court House to the Sea of Tranquility & Beyond

but I'm not Hillary Clinton

I'm more like Dick Nixon

in terms of America being weak ?

Russia just made the move which is going to transform America back into the Cold Warriors

it's good for America, to have a foreign adversary, it's a binding force in America
