Juolevi makes it 2-1 Finland, now has two points in the game, a goal and assist.

Czechs win in a shootout. As long as we don't choke against Switzerland, Canada will play them in the semifinals.

Beauty passing by Makar, setting up the 1-0 goal and just now almost setting up another. Conor Timmins looks great too, real meat and potatoes, nothing super flashy, just gets the job done, I think it's safe to say the Avs killed the 2017 draft.

Edit: Wow what a snipe by Makar! 2-0 Canada. That kid is an absolute stud. Timmins with an assist on it too.
Play the kid Ducharme, quit fucking around, seriously, burying Makar behind clearly inferior defensemen in ice-time, give your head a shake.
Set up the 3-0 goal by keeping it in on PP too, what a period.

Woll's gotta have that. Russia ties it 1-1. Brady Tkachuk had a nice assist on that Bellows goal. Quick strike outta nowhere, that's this Russian teams thing, inconsistent burst scoring.
Yamamoto makes it 2-1 USA.

SWE-SVK 3-2

Was a bit sweaty in the end. Worth noting that the first line with Lias Andersson, Elias Pettersson and Alexander Nylander didn't score this match. USA will be hard to beat if they don't improve their game.

The fact that Sweden is allowed to change their players after USA might be important.

I like the Swede's chances, better goaltending, but should be a good one.
