Zadina with the PP snipe, that's two points so far against Russia, speaking of guys who might go #2 overall.

Dahlin with an assist in the first on Petterson's PP goal. 1-1 after 1.
Svechnikov held pointless, Zadina with a goal and assist. Czech's upset Russia 5-4.

Erik Brannstrom looking great. Goal and assist in the second period, jumped off the bench for the goal, and the assist was pretty sweet too. Sweden now up 4-1 in the second.

Katchouk and Steel, Canada off to a hot start, 2-0, nearly halfway through the first. Take that Finland!

Never can tell with a goalie in junior, but this Carter Hart looks good, very smooth, technically strong, sort of Carey Price like.

Cale Makar gets run over, folds like a leaf in the slot.

Damn it Makar.

Edit: Heiskanen pulls a Makar, 3-1 Canada!

Guy had him a headlock, should have been holding, but still, swept him aside with ease.

Was more the clearing attempt right to the Finn with the empty net that bugs me on that one, a product of getting out muscled down low sure, but if he clears that it's actually one hell of defensive play, he just passed it right to the guy is all.

Quick counter strike, Miro Heiskanen's turn to get schooled.
