I suppose I'm ignorant. Is there a specific line between "political Islam" and "Islamic people"? Is the Political part supposed to imply extremist-Wahhabbi-Sharia-Law?C-Mag wrote:GrumpyCatFace wrote:1 - If the United States were at war with Islam, we would be outnumbered 4-1, and riddled with terrorism in every city, every day.C-Mag wrote:
Again, not assured this will work any better than it did under Trump than it did for the last 30 years. We may not want to admit we are in a war with Political Islam, but they are clearly at war with us. Ergo, we are at war or we just surrender and roll out the prayer mats, and help haul all the fags to the tallest building.
2 - roll the prayer mats out in the Middle East? Who gives a fuck? Or are you imagining that not re-re-re-reinvading them somehow invokes a Sharia Law clause in our Constitution?
Do you even understand the difference between all Muslims and Political Islam ? Or are you just trying to change the argument?
Which one, are you just ignorant, or purposefully attempting to change the argument ?

Fair Enough
Yes, extremists. Just like most real extremists. If you listen to them, they will tell you exactly what their goals are, see Mein Kampf.
In this case read Dabiq, the publication of ISIS.

If you read the intention of Political Islam you find it is basically the destruction of Christianity, Judaism and Conquest of the Western World. This Ideology is more extreme than Nazism.

I'd certainly agree that that's the stated goal of ISIS. I'd even agree that this is the goal of Wahhabism and any extreme-right Islamic faction.C-Mag wrote:GrumpyCatFace wrote:

However, you have to remember that absolute theocracy under an extreme Christian, Jewish, or other religious group would be just as bad.
Using the term "political Islam" implies that NO Islamic-based government - even a fully democratic one - would be any different. That's simply not true.
I'm arguing the term, not your root idea, which is that radical Islamic fundamentalism has to be abolished, which I agree with. I also believe they every flavor of extreme religion-based government should be destroyed.

Exactly. Where are these communities being suppressed by extreme Christians? It's like a Pavlovian response.Speaker to Animals wrote:"But, but, the crusades!"

Western nations have not been anything close to a theocracy in hundreds of years. I laugh at the suggestion that it could happen in the US. If the US was ever going to be a Theocracy it would have been with the nation was 90% Christian in the 19th C
I don't care what term you want. These hajjis are evil bastards. The horrors they have unleashed on the world in just the last 5 years(and it goes deeper than that) needs to end.

I just don't think it's our job to fix it.

155mm's--Long Tom's, they used to call them--dumb bombs, I call them now. I like dumb bombs. They're cheap--compared to our Hellfire from above--and they don't discriminate--those better-than-six-inch shells can't tell a mosque from a falafel stand--I like that, too.
B-52's and B-1's in South Korea--fine with me.
Obama's the only president to spend every day at war for an entire two terms in office--remember him?--the guy who won the Nobel peace prize? How great would it be if we were fighting alongside the Russians rather than supplying their enemies? Assad ain't never done shit to me.
