Again, not assured this will work any better than it did under Trump than it did for the last 30 years. We may not want to admit we are in a war with Political Islam, but they are clearly at war with us. I'd certainly agree that that's the stated goal of ISIS. I'd even agree that this is the goal of Wahhabism and any extreme-right Islamic faction.

However, you have to remember that absolute theocracy under an extreme Christian, Jewish, or other religious group would be just as bad.

Using the term "political Islam" implies that NO Islamic-based government - even a fully democratic one - would be any different. That's simply not true.

I'm arguing the term, not your root idea, which is that radical Islamic fundamentalism has to be abolished, which I agree with. I also believe they every flavor of extreme religion-based government should be destroyed.
