She was censured for this time because she slandered a person on the congressional floor... which is not allowed. It had nothing to do with her gender, or even race (Indian or Caucasian)... it had to do with her opening her mouth at the wrong time at the right place...
I wish the censure was permanent...

This is a rule that has been around for 100 years, just because it's not enforced as much as it should be, doesn't mean what Warren did should have not been punished.
The Democrats pull our laws for copyright infringement, so what's wrong with doing this?

I've got another interpretation, maybe Elizabeth Warren is such a nasty bitch that she can't follow a rule if it requires her to act with some decency. If this rule is being "historically" used then it's because she managed to be a "historic" bitch. Congrats, Liz.
Dislike her politics all you want, but such name calling and deliberate obtuseness, is doing all of you no favors.
By being so deliberately insulting after a woman from the minority party is reading actual witness testimony from a black woman about a cabinet candidate's actual racism who was then stopped using a rule which is hardy ever enforced, merely enforces the suggestion that she was wrongly silenced.
