I'm fine with reuniting said children with their parent(s).Penner wrote: ↑Sat Jun 23, 2018 7:29 amhttps://abcnews.go.com/US/online-fundra ... d=56087941Hundreds of thousands of people upset about the separation of immigrant families at the border are putting their money into the fight, and making history in the process.
A Facebook fundraiser called "Reunite an immigrant parent with their child" has now raised more than $19.4 million in less than a week, with more than 500,000 people contributing.
We soon as said parent(s) are headed back across the border we should make sure their child(ren) accompany them on whatever transportation gets them there. Heck, I'd even support giving the kids some ice cream and candy for the ride so they can celebrate their reuniting with their parents and homeland. It'd be a tiny cost compared to what they've already cost us, what's an extra $5 on the probably tens of thousands$ they've already cost us to put a smile on a child's face when they go home?
In fact since people are being generous maybe that $19.4mil could be used for their transport home and ice cream/candy costs for the kids & parents. Congratulations on your reuniting together... Back in Mexico, Guatemala, Brazil, or where ever you came from!! Seems like a good use of money - you want to be reunited, we have donations to make sure you are reunited ASAP, we'll drop the criminal prosecution and reunite you - all you have to do is sign this document saying you'll never try to enter illegally again and you'll be on the next transport home with your children. The only stipulation being if you violate the agreement and try and enter again you won't ever see daylight again.
..And if course, if you don't come back you'll never have to worry about separation/reuniting ever again. See how easy that is?
