And making them citizens will do what exactly to alleviate that? Increasing the number of people making min wages means more people contributing to social programs than consuming?
It offsets the cost, when workers are paying into the system. That's kinda how welfare works.
You honestly think min wag workers "pay into the system"?
According to their pay stubs, yes. That's how the system works.

Fun fact: They even tax Unemployment benefits.
Dude - net payment into the system - not the rope-a-dope circle jerk of "taxing income" then getting more back in the form of tax credits and social services...

Don't know what you think you 'debunked' about ankle bracelets, and nothing was changed. The argument was made that we couldn't put them on 'parole' without identifying them - which would be idiotic. So I sarcastically replied that we could probably manage to fingerprint them first.
Ankle bracelets work for millions of parolees throughout the country - people already familiar with our infrastructure and ways of getting around. It would certainly work for people that just hiked across the continent. Unless you think that central americans are somehow WAY better at cutting off a bracelet than felons.
Idiotic is catch and release. Throwing a bracelet on their leg doesn't identify them or prevent them from vanishing into the country illegally.
Now you say the fingerprint comment was sarcastic. Nothing indicated that at the time which makes you either a liar or a troll. This isn't the first time you've playing this game when confronted with facts and honest debate. I'm done taking anything you say seriously anymore.

One wonders how millions of parolees are kept under control, then. Why do we bother making ankle bracelets, when they all just cut them off and vanish?

Ahh, you meant does the system profit from min-wage workers. Of course not. But they do pay into it.
If you don't like welfare, then either raise the min wage above the poverty line, or lower the poverty line to min-wage. The fact that we have a broken system paying out for nothing is not relevant to whether to bring in more citizens.
