That's usually what happens to one-dimensional characters.
Tyrion, Danny, John Snow, Sansa, Varys, and Arya have all become those though.
I think there's justice in some but not all of that. What makes a character interesting is usually internal conflict, like the Hound. But we all loved Tywin, a prick who never doubted his own righteousness. Jon was more interesting when he was being literally seduced by the wildlings. Now he's just channeling Old Ned, but maybe that will change. Arya needs a shock to her new "I am Death" worldview, like killing an innocent. But she's certainly had a good arc of character building.

Now compare those to Ramsey, he had no complex motivations other than power and sadism. That's one dimensional.

I don't think Ramsey is a great character, though his dad was, its more like, I think GoT fans have ruined the show, and the producers sacrificed a great show some fans would like, for a social justice show that many fans would like. I think Ramsey is designed to be hated, without being super likeable or interesting, so it would be a pretty good middle finger to have him win in the end, and a way to get back at the people whose input ruined the show. Especially if they did it in the second final episode of the final season. Have him come back the same way the deus ex machina Jon Snow resurrection happened. The show is already ruined, why not ruin it in a way that makes it fun?

Hmm, tough to bring a dude back after he's been eaten by dogs, but...MAGIC!!! His dad was dull, as big a shit as Ramsey but dull as dirt. Some more backstory and complexity might have made Ramsey more interesting. Like Dad raping him while they watch somebody getting flayed. You know, character building stuff. I don't know why you're off on this whole SJW stuff, a lot of chicks got raped on the show, and the, as Olenna would say, swordswallowers got theirs, doesn't that make you happy enough?

The show started going downhill after they killed off Tywin, daralon is jumping the gun by a season, the fourth season was still dope. He does make a great point about fan service being a big reason why the show started going downhill though, which resulted in a lack of consequences in order to save important characters for the end game, stall tactics for the fail.

Yeah I forgot season 4 was where Tywin died. That had the battle between the mountain and that Viper guy which was pretty neat plus Joffrey's death. I've heard another theory for the decline of season 5 onward is they were running out of quality book material, so perhaps some of the blame can be foisted on George RR Martin himself. I really don't know what happened dude. Used to be a great show.

Haters gotta hate. There's no such thing as a perfect show. There are always going to be slower parts, characters who aren't as developed as we'd hope, etc.

I challenge all of you who started hating the show in season 4 to not watch the final season. What's the point?

There's all kinds of shows I stopped watching once they went downhill. No need to waste my time watching a train wreck.

I think the show is awesome. The worst episode for me was still damn good.

I’m pretty sure that’s when they caught up to the books.

You have never been more wrong in your life. That show is not that good. If we count the first half maybe, but the last 3 seasons dragged the average down big time
