In Canada, when someone invokes the "society", what they are referring to is the leftist elites in downtown Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, and the bureaucracy in Ottawa, everybody else, is simply erased from the debate, and that of course, is very deliberate.

That's why we need net neutrality. Society has to protect this high-level debate.

Laurentian Consensus Faggots.

The left in Canada use that "society" shit to justify all their bullshit, usually via guilt trip, their favorite is probably to invoke "the children" as the reason they need to steal your money. In case any of you thought Smitty was embellishing for the sake of good post, if anything he actually underestimates how insidious that shit is, the man isn't joking.

We have political parties on the right in Canada, you don't. You have no parties that support a Monarchy, both Democrats and Republicans both support a Republic. Monarchies are on the right, Republics are on the left.

Your status quo is on the left, conserving the status quo of the left isn't the right.

How embarrassing. You’re right, he was a Democrat. The world makes much more sense now.

With all the shit the media gave him over Vietnam I assumed he was a Republican, because today’s media would never treat a Democrat like that. They have a full blown crisis of popular Hollywood Dems and Democrat politicians going down for being groping pervs and rapists and the media is still beating the Roy Moore drum like we can’t see what’s going on here.
Yes, well, the Hollywood Dems are "society" and so they "just want what's best for society", and since you do not, you don't actually exist in the "society", you don't actually have to be in Fly Over Country for the "society" to erase you from the debate.
