At number six, playing with Eichel and Kane, Phil Kessel.

Fine, Kessel on the third line then, at number 7.

2016-17 NHL ratings dropped in U.S., rose in Canada, reversing recent trend

NHL on NBC broadcasts were particularly hard-hit, falling 20 per cent and producing the lowest NHL broadcast TV ratings on record.

The 2016 Stanley Cup Final was one of the lowest-rated National Hockey League title tilts since the sport returned to NBC 11 years ago. And while partisans can offer up more excuses for the weak turnout than there are gaps in Brent Burns' smile, the fact remains that hockey simply is no longer a consistent TV draw.

Hockey ranks well behind pro football in a popularity contest among Americans. The game on ice is steady at 5 percent popularity in the U.S., ranking sixth among sports.

As for who plays with Kessel, Brock Boeser on the other wing, Clayton Keller or Vincent Trocheck at center?
