It's not hard to get that many neo-liberals to vote for him, and then ride the electability wave after early primary wins to victory, just like Romney did.

No he didn't look again. They went back and forth like a mascot race at a ballpark. Your narrative is fucked. Biden is going to blow it like he would a 12 year old.StCapps wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 5:34 pmRomney had slightly tougher competition it's true, that doesn't bode well for those running against Biden. Romney did not have to fight hard, Santorum and Gingrich were never any real threat to him, and neither was Ron Paul. Herman Cain was a flavor of the week who peaked way too early. Romney had a prohibitive lead, just a slightly smaller prohibitive lead.clubgop wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 5:14 pmonly in your own mind. Romney didnt have this prohibitive of a lead. Early on there was a flavor of the week thing going. They like Herman Cain then they metooed his ass, then we had a Huckabee thing, then Gingrich was rising because he told a reporter to shove it, Guiliani for about an hour, Ron Paul was Ron Paul. Santorum won Iowa. Only NH saved him and he lost to Gingrich in SC. He had to fight up to and through super Tuesday.

Oh yeah no doubt. I guess his platform is what I'm more interested in. It already seems to have been copped by the front runners so where does he go from there?StCapps wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 8:59 pmWould be interesting if Bernie ever took the kid gloves off, but he won't, too much of a pussy to take down Biden, only Biden can take down himself.TheReal_ND wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 8:58 pmIt will be interesting to watch Bernie again though. Will he reuse the money he already raised?

Bernie is basically a democrat version of Ron Paul. There really are only a small core group of fanatical supporters and, if the stars align, a pretty sizable protest vote. He saw a large number of voters last cycle because the only other option was fucking Hillary Clinton. He was a protest vote.
He definitely has a larger core group than Ron Paul ever did, but it's a very similar thing.
Bernie: Ron Paul
Biden: ¡Jeb!

Most dem voters have no idea who the other candidates even are, dumbass. They don't follow this shit so early. Biden gets scuttled just from all the racist shit in his past, and he propensity to sexual assault every other God damned Thursday afternoon.StCapps wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 9:01 pmMost dems hate the other candidates more. 25-30% or 35-40% is a fairly minor difference dude, that plays in Biden's favor, not against him. Romney easily won with less, Biden can win with more.

Re: 2020 election
They don't care about Biden's past, they already know, and they don't care, this partisan demohacks we are talking about, they don't hate Biden. The other candidates will never have his name recognition unless one of them wins the nomination, but not before that, so pretending like they are going to catch up is just silly. Most dem voters will never have any idea who the other candidates are, dumbass, the field being this crowded makes it even less likely that it ever changes.Speaker to Animals wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 9:03 pmMost dem voters have no idea who the other candidates even are, dumbass. Bernie is the only candidate with name recognition even close, and yet the party hasn't bailed on Biden for Bernie, despite that being the case. Your theory about name recognition narrowing being the end of Biden is wishful thinking.

Nuclear Bimbo could be a fun episode, though.
