Once we're done "freeing the slaves", perhaps we could address the real suffering in this factory system.

It's about time animals had rights.
Pigs are very smart animals and that practice is barbarous.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Not all animals are equal. Some taste better than others.

And who gets to exercise the animal's rights on their behalf? What rights exactly?Montegriffo wrote:It's about time animals had rights.

Factory farming makes for a better tasting meat. Since the animals are mistreated, their bodies release fear and stress hormones. These hormones give the meat a richer, fuller taste. Thats why bacon taste so good. You are actually eating terror. A scared pig is a tasty pig. Mmmmmmm.

Well, over here we have farming inspectors and of course the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.Kazmyr wrote:And who gets to exercise the animal's rights on their behalf? What rights exactly?Montegriffo wrote:It's about time animals had rights.

The RSPCA will prosecute on behalf of the animals.
The right not to experience cruelty would be a good start.
