I wonder how much longer the European Union will last. To be honest, I would be shocked if it is around in 20 years. It was always kind of a wraith-like entity in the sense that it wanted to be a state without doing basic shit that a state is supposed to do. It wanted free movement via Schengen, while simultaneously letting in immigrants from a war zone. Fearful of Putin and anxious of his intentions, many EU countries are also NATO members who do not meet minimum defense requirements. In fact, many EU countries use their navies to actively patrol the Mediterranean and let in Muslims! The EU has tried to rise above nationalistic conflicts, yet its immigration and economic policies have fanned nationalistic flames throughout Europe. Italy and France are no longer safe bets. Even after the EU project is thrown onto the ideological shitpile where it belongs, Eurofags will insist it was a good idea that was not properly implemented. "Well, if we had used all the German pensions to bail out Greece, and if we had let in more muslims, the European Union would have worked perfectly!" They would hate to be compared, but this type of thinking is seen a lot when you talk to communists who insist that Marxism has never been tried properly. Also neocons. I talked to this Neocon guy one time who explained to me that if stayed in Iraq for 100 years, we could have made it a great country. It never occurred to this person that the underlying idea of Neoconservatism was wrong, or that there are many more realistic projects on which a country could spend its limited resources. EU folks think the same way. They would be willing to bankrupt Europe and perform female genital mutilation on all their female relatives if they thought it could save their retarded little project. Had the EU just remained a limited partnership between France and Germany, they could have solved the German question and allowed both countries to prosper. Instead, it has turned into a lazy Greek and Shariah stew of bankrupcy and multicultural pozzing.
