I still think this Team USA is better on paper, it's the stronger team this year, but the Canadians have to do as the Slovaks did, and come with a better game plan, make the Americans play your game, out skate them, because the only advantage Canada has, is that they're faster, you're not going to win by smash mouth, to beat these Americans, you have to play the possession game, soccer on ice.

Pretty sure they know what they did wrong, started with the stupid penalties, they got baited in smash mouth, and then the Americans started embellishing to get the calls, then the Canadians just started running around in their own end, letting Middlestat do his thing.

They played undisciplined, they didn't play a possession game, and they didn't cover their man in the defensive zone. On the bright side, all correctable problems, particularly when back on proper ice without the snow.

I don't even think the Americans are the big problem, they can get past the Americans if they play the right way, but I don't know what to do about Sweden, if it comes down to Sweden, I think these Canadians are in big trouble, because soccer on ice is the Swedish game, and Canada doesn't have a Dahlin.

Dahlin is the best I've seen in years, Erik Karlsson wasn't this good in junior, not even close, he's way ahead of where Karlsson was at this age, Dahlin is looking like he could be the next Lidstrom, except bigger.

Why did Makar get no ice time 3 on 3? Ducharme is a dummy. Don't give Cale Makar room to make plays at crucial moments when you're going to get pumped in the shootout, that would be too smart. Bad ice or no bad ice, that's bad coaching. The man needs to play his best players more, for realz, the personnel decisions he makes at times are absolutely bizarre, he doesn't know how to maximize the talent on his team and plays shit way too conservatively.

Give Makar more ice time, especially in 3 on 3 situations, you faggot, this is pussy shit.

Meh, when Comtois is going to be so stupid as to take the bait and run the guy from behind at the critical moment when the game is hanging in the balance, not much the coach can do, except demand a shame game next time around, because that pretty much fucked the whole team, right there, dumbest penalty you could take, at the worst possible time, just handed the momentum to the other team, and Canada never got it back.
