Nancy Pelosi is the establishment, Chuck Schumer is the establishment, AOC and Ilhan Omar are not the establishment, they are fringe outliers who ran in deep blue districts that would never vote Republican. You are just strawmanning the Democrats in general by assuming the opinions of the dumbest fringe extremists are those of the establishment. Just because those running for the Democrat nomination seem to think that AOC is the base, doesn't mean they are right, it means they live in a bubble and are getting terrible political advice.clubgop wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2019 11:32 pmthe most media coverage from the media party is the establishment of that party dude. What you say is the fringe isnt. Open borders, not fringe for dems, free shit, not fringe for dems, reparations, not fringe. Sure, it might all be talk but that doesnt mean it isnt establishment. You are not taking any responsibility here, you are trying to have your cake and eat it too.

Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Shumer are open borders in all but name, they are free shit, they are anti gun, they are anti free speech. Look at what they say today and compare it to what they said years ago. You are illustrating my point. The establishment left has drifted in liberal lands, they have moved the Overton Window. The left has no limiting principle, they dont have any standards. If it is good for them and bad for their opponents they are for it.StCapps wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2019 11:39 pmNancy Pelosi is the establishment, Chuck Schumer is the establishment, AOC and Ilhan Omar are not the establishment, they are fringe outliers who ran in deep blue districts that would never vote Republican. Re: 2020 election
The establishment has moved to the left, but nowhere near as left as AOC. There is a reason no Democrat voted for the Green New Deal, even the people who co-sponsored the bill, that shit doesn't sell. The overton window has moved, but not as far left as social media would lead the media and democrat politicians to believe. They have miscalculated massively and a correction is coming sooner or later, in the meantime the far left doesn't have the sway you think it does, and the Democrat establishment has far more sway than you think it does.clubgop wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2019 11:49 pmNancy Pelosi and Chuck Shumer are open borders in all but name, they are free shit, they are anti gun, they are anti free speech. Who are the Never Trumpers going to draft to run against Trump in the middle. This will be a 3rd party candidate, like a Mitt Romney running as an independent. It will be a candidate with no intention of winning, just there to siphon votes off Trump in swing states and the rust belt.
Will it be Mittens ?
