California accounts for around 15% of the total federal income, and is net income producer, just as about any state in the South takes in more in Federal dollars, usually via benefits, than it sends. That said, the unemployment rates in those states is bad, just as the population's general health of those states is getting worse. So there are very good, not shameful, reasons for the greater intake of Federal monies, for that is were the most economic death is.

Of course, most of the tax money that comes from California comes from the top 1% who are taking all the extra wealth being generated by the whole population. So yes, California's unemployment is very low, but the cost of living is screaming past the incomes of most of us. The Blue States too are dying, but just more slowly.

So choose your death. Actively drowning in Red States, or slowing drowning in Blue States.

The entire country, in all states, across the political spectrum, from the poor, working, and middle classes, is getting poorer. The only people staying good are the top 10%, and the only ones actually getting richer are the top 1% with the 0.01% getting the most of that. No matter how hard you try, no matter your race, no matter how educated you are, or your skills, you are probably going to stay right were you are. And if you are successful, this truth still remains for most everyone else. More so everyday. Is it any wonder that that is why parts of the country has an opioid problem, or that other parts has a violence problem. If there is no realistic hope, something bad is going to happen cause most of us are not saints.

This nonsense is only serving to distract us all from that, from stopping us noticing our mutual economic rape. From the fact that we are all drowning in a ocean of corruption everywhere.
