Who cares about winning once, way back in the day, at a popular sport that suck balls? The English, that's who.

England have qualified for the world cup 14 times. We didn't even enter a team till 1950 so we missed 3 world cups so that is 14 out of 17. Canada qualified once in 1986.
England dominates the world of snooker 47 titles out of 71 and no one outside of the UK has ever won it but like ice hockey only a handful of countries play snooker so it is an empty brag.
Come back at me when you dominate anything that can genuinely be called a WORLD cup.

Saying we're the best at hockey isn't bragging, it's just a fact. Not winning, national catastrophe indeed. It would be no national catastrophe if the UK didn't win once at snooker, and rightly so, snooker ain't shit. If you knock Canada out of a major international hockey tournament, that's something worth bragging about.

We don't disrespect our near peers, Team USA and Team Sweden are formidable opponents indeed, but they know, and we know, that they ain't done nothing, until they beat us, best on best for all the marbles.

That's what it is to be the kings. It's not a brag, it's just reality. We win it all, or we lose it all, there is no second place.
