I caught a 10 point rack across the cattle guard on my truck. I really wish I would have thought to saw off a leg or something that fucker was meaty. I always wanted to get into hunting too. Particularly squirrels. I hunted doves with my dad and uncle before that's pretty fun

You can keep/claim roadkill here. If I were to hit something I would would definitely be taking it home. And then calling my insurance no doubt.
Squirrels are pretty tasty. Sort of like a Cornish game hen. I've got plenty of access to yard rabbits and can peg them in town with my pellet gun, but around here some can carry tuleremia, so they typically are only safe to eat in months ending in =ber. I'm not a big fan of the taste of rabbit but most anything else is fair.

You like rabbit? I can eat it, not my favorite though. When I was a kid, my very elderly Portuguese grandma who could barely walk somehow was able to catch a rabbit in the yard and cook it. It was always a mystery lol.
