No one needs to die off for millennials to grow up.
They can do it any time they want.
They just don’t seem to want.

I say this:
There is a point to be made about waiting til the baby boomers die off before we can do anything about it, but once they die off, it's our problem. It's not fair to leave it to the next generation after us.

And it's not "your" government. It's "our" government.
and you respond with this:

So... Is that quote actually meant to be interpreted as some sort of exclusively economic complaint of a younger generation complaining about debts left by an older? Seems to me an older generation can grow many other trees besides just money trees for the generations that'll never know them.

Daft is a grown man using the phrase “it’s not fair” and then declaring we must pay off the national debt for unspecified reasons.

Let emotions drive your actions a little harder. Don’t ask yourself what the national debt actually represents, whether it should actually be fully paid off or not, or who is actually the beneficiary of all the debt already accumulated. Nope. Too much work. Easier to play the victim, rant about old timers eating your lunch and sticking you with the check, and bleating “it’s not fair”.

Seems really productive.
You should probably continue down that path indefinitely.

Ok, prove to me that having $21.155 Trillion in national debt is a good thing, and running a $743 billion dollar deficit is a good thing. Enlighten me.

No - just keep sounding like an uninformed complainer and creating strawman. That costs me little time and does me no harm whatsoever. Investing time in explaining things to you is a low-return, loss generating proposal at best. You have Google, libraries, college level podcasts, and every modern convenience of self-education at your fingertips. Learn or don’t. No one cares but you.

DBtrek - "I made a point"

Jedi - "Ok, prove your point."

DBtrek - "you're too stupid, I'm not going to."

Then why fuckin post if you're not going to back up your point? The onus is on you, genius. If you're not going to back up your points, then why post them? I'm not doing your research for you.

Dishonest edits from HM.
Good to see little has changed.
