Want her to cut it? Ask her what she watches, find a way to get it streamed. If it's GoT on HBO It cost $15/mo.

Food network, etc... Hulu and Netflix, get it together for under $25/mo. Save yourself buku bucks. All in all three together is $40/mo. Add Showtime and you add $11/mo.

So You can pay $50 a month for internet, and another $55 a month for your major crack shows and then other shows... then you have fun. Otherwise just get Hulu and Netflix and jack up your internet speed and have fun.

If I do that, then I can only watch the Cleveland Browns games. Feel my pain.
SJWs are a natural consequence of corporatism.

Good point. Maybe they'll be OK this year?

My house came with a massive antenna on the roof, I get like 200 channels, the basic ones plus endless really weird and shitty ones, one channel is only bad westerns, one kung-fu, one is mostly black and white movies. Several appear to just be for ordering shit by telephone.

I think the quality is better than cable tho not sure, since there is no compression as it runs through the cable

Or just apathy and a lack of determination.

I have so many friends my age who will bitch, "wanh, I have no money," but they continue to go out to lame bars and pay $4 for a Budweiser.

I try to live paycheck to paycheck for expenses, but I have a fat savings account I never touch, among other things. Basically, it's just a psychological trick to keep myself frugal. My checking acct only has money in it when I have an outstanding rent check.

Ditto, my friends who bitch the most have really nice cars and nice apartments, newest apple laptops, always the latest iphone, get on planes for vacation, and so on.

I know that doesn't describe everyone in this country, but my goodness, get your shit together

Just like point of sale markup is not the same as profit, living paycheck to paycheck is not the same as poverty.

Or it can be young adults with almost zero cost of living who blow all of their money on shit they don't need, and then fall back on ramen until they get paid again.

So since it's such a worthless metric, let's stop pretending like it means something.

Or it could be like people like me, where my wife is staying at home raising our child while I work. Living Paycheck to Paycheck isn't just a metaphor for some people, you lose a paycheck and you are shit out on the street in many cases.
