Yanet or GTFO,
No, no, no, that's the El Paso in the news thread. This thread is about news in El Paso. Totally different.TheReal_ND wrote:Hand the rabbit ears over okee. It's not worth it.
Also, you have a thread for El Paso news already.

We need to fast track these poor women to mass migrate to the US.

Re: Local news
I suspect that as a nation, we may have been happier when the news was available two or three times a day and the stations went off the air at 11 pm or midnight. At some point, it's just filler/garbage.Okeefenokee wrote:Is hilarious.
I just turned on the t.v. and plugged in the rabbit ears, and first thing I see is a reporter in the field telling me it's windy outside, as if I didn't know that the second I stepped out the door.
Then he says something like, "do renters need renter insurance in case of wind damage? tune in for our report at nine." I don't know if I can handle that kind of suspense.
Next story was about a bank robbery. That's pretty cool. It's like I'm in an action movie. I'm just an extra on the other side of town, but still.
Some dude stabbed his wife to death and police tracked him down hiding in a canal.
Ringo Star is coming to El Paso. They're gonna tell me when and how to get tickets after the break.
There's another special report tonight at nine about the road construction on the ten the west side. At least half the city drives through there on a daily basis, and it's been like that for over two years, so I don't think there's anyone who doesn't know about it, but I'm interested to see what they have to report.
Oh, and commercials. Actually, this t.v. hasn't been turned on since the superbowl.
