That's the whole reason for these events happening. Or add to that, a basically self-destructive President who fucks up his message so badly, that it helps the left in this effort. Once you have an act of violence, then the left can easily exploit the event for some time (assuming it's especially some racist or neonazi has done the killing). If you don't believe it, just think about how the debate about gun control goes. Nothing is done until there's a mass shooting by some lunatic or terrorist (or lunatic terrorists) and then new laws are tried shoved up when people are still in shock or emotional about it. It's a similar tactic. Quite common all over in the West. The left wouldn't be out of the blue taking down the statues, because then the likely debate would be vandalism.
This is what the neonazi clowns will hope that happens. Hence they themselves hope for the counterprotesters to appear in large droves to them.
