I tend to make that mistake more often than not. In any case, people who go into politics, and expect it to be a sure thing, really do deserve what they get.

I live by that motto, I may not be in the best situation, but know what, if people want to piss me off, I've told them that even when not standing on solid ground. It's one of the reasons I worked my ass off getting to where I am, and why I'm trying to write my book series, so I can say that and be in a situation where it truly will never matter if I need to work again.

I’m a white woman, I’m 43 and I can honestly say that I could find no fault in your words. They itched at me like a tag in my shirt I just can’t reach, but that’s the point (I think, anyway; I’m not trying to misinterpret or put words in your mouth). It made me uncomfortable to read, and I read it three times, but there is nothing but truth here. Thank you for writing it and for making me uncomfortable. I need to hear these things over and over again.
