I've been travelling recently and I listened to KoK in reverse order starting with III. For some reason the series made more sense to me in reverse order.

Does this have to do with how I learned history? Anyone else notice this ?

Maybe. It just struck me as odd. Perhaps it wasn't the order, just that I was listening to it for the second time.
I enjoyed the hour + of the Makedonians as much as anything in the series.
