I probably shouldn't say this as you guys think I'm weird already, but with the exception of the man in black I'm not a big fan of C+W.
A bit of shit kicking blue grass on the other hand....."Cotton eye Joe" anyone.

That's pop music. Bluegrass would be more like this. Btw, these guys wrote the song before Hootie took it.

Last blue grass band I saw was at a mates wedding, they were all in their early 20's and the girl who was singing was sexy AF. I was hoping for a comeback over here.
And I am aware that there must be dozens of versions of that song. Who are Hootie?

Darius Rucker - of Hootie and the Blowfish - re-recorded Wagon Wheel a couple of years ago and made it a big pop country song.

That might be the version of it that the wedding band were inspired by. Next time I have more than 40 kbs I'll look it up.

I had a small hiatus (fell in love with Ingress again).
