C'mon man Tarantino can makes some funny dialogue, but his shit is overrated. I really didn't care for Django or Basterds. He just prolongs his movies for as long as possible. Fatty scenes and dialogue, drawn out nonsense. In the film world, he's like a Mitch McConnell or Harry Reid. He's got the name recognition, so he feels like he can do no wrong and do whatever he wants.Hateful Eight was too long but I did have quite a laugh and honestly enjoyed it. But his post Jackie Brown stuff has been unbearable in my opinion. Jackie Brown was saved by Samuel Jackson, who always kills it in Tarantino movies. In fact, I will watch just about anything with Jackson in it. That guy is a treasure.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Take that back.heydaralon wrote:Tarantino sucks balls. That's like 80% of all Hollywood movies nowheydaralon wrote:C'mon man Tarantino can makes some funny dialogue, but his shit is overrated. I really didn't care for Django or Basterds. Tarantinos stuff is all gold. That padding is a key part of it. The dialogue, the flavor, the pacing - its genius. He's the only director that seems to really understand pacing.
