Imjin Joe might seem like he had a lot of guts, but Tom Sawyer was half his size. It did take guts to jump out of the courthouse like he did in Tom and Huck though...

If he hadn't tried cutting up that old widow maybe his ass wouldn't have starved to death in a cave. Homeboy got what he deserved if you ask me...

I read The Adventures of Tom Sawyer in middle School, I'm surprised that's big in Korea or wherever Hwem is from...

Its not the one with Nigger Jim. That's Huckleberry Finn I believe. Nigger Jim taught me a lot about life on the Mississippi.TheReal_ND wrote:Damn did I get an edited version or something?

I read it in fifth grade. I won a Sony Walkman and an ace of base cd or something. I read more books than anyone except for a girl that I tied with. What put me over the top (rather tied, [rather now I'm wondering if some sort of affirmative action point scale was used]) was reading LOTR. Big boy points and shiet

Did your school have some kind of deal with pizza hut where if you read 5 books you'd get a personal pan pizza? My school did that and when you are in elementary thats actually a pretty sweet hookup.TheReal_ND wrote:I read it in fifth grade. I won a Sony Walkman and an ace of base cd or something. Nah they rolled out sweet merch in the library for our good boy points. That does sound familiar though but I think that was implemented on a voluntary basis by the time I was out. They only applied it to GT classes when I was in school. I guess they didn't want non GT to read too much or didn't care more likely.
Pretty sweet program though. Sony Walkman or DJ's or whatever weren't cheap back then.
I found out I could play the soundtrack to the burned quake copy I bought with it.
