Which one was?

The guy sailed under the black Martian banner for the whole time I'd listened to him, but when the shot started flying he hauled up the precious blue ensign. I always knew his non-partisan schtick was just that--schtick--but when he let his true colors fly unashamedly, I still felt betrayed and insulted. One tries to avoid looking down--tries to retain eye-contact with someone out of sheer urbanity--but when that same someone insists upon continuously propping his feet of clay upon your coffee table....
Plus, his hardcore history episodes were getting worse and worse as well as more and more infrequent, while his common sense nearly disappeared (literally and figuratively. The most interesting election cycle in our lifetime, and he ran out of stuff to say?
I hope he didn't spend his thirty pieces of silver all in one place.

As an interesting aside, without commentary - Look at Dan Carlin's web site traffic go through the roof after he shuttered the forums:

Still happy for Dan. He saw a nitch, exploited and set up long term financial security for his family. Good for Dan.

Maybe we were anchoring him down, the data reflects that.

Honestly, I think the traffic spike is probably those lurkers that were usually notified of new podcasts by the forum threads. Maybe a combination of that, and people that weren't even aware of the site, until he mentioned it.

Part of it was he got an agent who started get his name spread. I just checked twitter, he has 91,000 followers for Common Sense and 142,000 for Hardcore History.
