Space Aliens that Build the Pyramids-World.
Spartans that weren't institutionalized pederasts, fought semi-nude and used American football chanting as their battle cries.... - World.
Native Americans in Harmony With Nature-World.
If I'm gonna go LARP'ing around the countryside, torturing and raping AI's, I'm nott gonna trust some programmer to have programmed the bots to accurately reflect any given time period, people, their beliefs or history, anyway. And face it, if something like that became a reality, that would become the popular demand eventually, anyway.

I can't imagine a good naval or maritime story line. Rome perhaps, Byzantines. Hell, Carthage.

I thought Rome or Byzantines or even Carthage is a little too "normal"
The question was "exotic"
Obviously Rome would be #1 for me. I think in the original movie there was a Romanworld

Yeah, I think you are right. There was a Roman World with a Samurai World as well. Although, most of the focus was on the West World.AndrewBennett wrote:I thought Rome or Byzantines or even Carthage is a little too "normal"

Hey, it would be exotic for me especially Byzantine empire before the rise of Islam and the catastrophe at Manzikert.
Also, Persion empire, or just pre-persian greek war Anatolia.

I think that would have been a good time, especially pre-Justinian plague. I'm convinced they were ready to MRGA before that plague struck the Med.Cid wrote:Hey, it would be exotic for me especially Byzantine empire before the rise of Islam and the catastrophe at Manzikert.

Ehe, there's some interesting stuff coming suggesting the roman elite were fucked way more than it was previously understood, even prior to the plague.
Lead for example was used as a sweetener, in wine I believe, which raises aggression but also leads to male infertility. Gotta have Roman babies to make Roman legions. Also has other cognitive effects.
