Hey, after changing diapers for over a year, you should be back to the mud slinging that we and congress do on a daily basis.
I've changed my fair share of diapers. My daughter is almost three.
Still no baby. They're trying to induce. Their vitals are fine though.
At some point my wife and I calculated that we changed somewhere between 3,000 - 4,000 diapers before we were all through. The "diaper genie" was an indispensable household item for over seven or eight years.

We tried that, and realized it did nothing beyond taking another item in the house to clean or keep upright when our son got big enough to push things over in anger.
Use a plastic bag for the day, tie it up and the end and call it a day. If there is a stinky one in there beyond normal, do the same thing, tie it off, put it in a new bag and the end of the day, clean it out, start and repeat.
To me if we are going to use plastic bags, may as well use it to carry real shit around.
