Three blades? You are like little baby. Watch this.
I'm not going to lie, I've thought about itTheReal_ND wrote:How is the Casper?
A Heretic at Duke Divinity School"Harsh and direct disagreement places thought under pressure,” Mr. Griffith wrote last week in an love letter to the university and the life of the mind in Commonweal. “Pressure can be intellectually productive. . . . But pressure also causes pain and fear; and when those under pressure find these things difficult to bear, they’ll sometimes use any means possible to make the pressure and the pain go away. They feel unsafe, threatened, put upon, and so they react by deploying the soft violence of the law or the harder violence of the aggressive and speech-denying protest. Both moves are common enough in our élite universities now, as is their support by the powers that be. Tolerance for intellectual pain is less than it was. So is tolerance for argument.”

Of course they wanted like $18 for 4 fucking replacement blades... so I get them now on eBay, like $3.70 for 4 blade cartridges, free shipping from Asia/China, which I'm sure is where Gillette has them made anyways. Quality wise they seem to last just as long - how much can you really fuck up several tiny sharpened bits of metal that only last a few shaves anyways?de officiis wrote:Why have razors gotten so damned expensive, BTW? Scandalous.
Of course I bought a straight blade, sharpening strap and grit, and am gonna give the real old fashioned shave a try... seems far less wasteful.
Let us know how the straight razor thing works out!
