The way I understand it is that they had 6 hour work days and moon lite orgies. HAHAHA! But really though, they had an intricate seafaring navigation system (that some suspect got them to South America), a complex social structure and were a thriving peoples' who numbered in the millions. What I know of the latent vestiges of that culture causes me to be curious about what life was like when they were at their apex.Okeefenokee wrote:Ooooo exotic.

Age of Exploration.
Discover news worlds, and brutalize their natives!
Go native, murder the white eyes, and eat them for their power!
Start a heretic reformation, bring the family!

You can also kill fellow natives. No reason to go all noble savage nonsense.adwinistrator wrote:Age of Exploration.

When this was what you got from the local AAA equivalent as a road map to the ocean. Also, if one doesn't know about 'Aina then one doesn't.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

No but I do have a vague memory of seeing it explained on TV once. My guess would be that the beads represent islands and the lines distances. If you know the bearings between islands you can work out where you are by line of sight much like coastal navigation where you can check the bearings of two known landmarks and plot your position using trigonometry.

Actually that's probably wrong as the beads appear to be in straight lines. Google it for us and let me know if you can be bothered.
