I go there every year. They're within a mile of each other, on Injun land. What's the problem?

Even the casinos are sad as fuck. I've never bet a dime, but I've been in a casino or two in my travels while stopping for gas. The first thing you encounter are the sad broke senior citizens smoking outside the door. Once you go inside it just gets worse. The whole place is rife with the aura of depression and loss.clubgop wrote:The problem is you. We were looking for food after visiting the bonneville salt flats and a casino town just over the nevada border was the first attempt. The buffet was set to open in a half hour, but I wasn't about to sit in that depressing place for that long. We hit the carls junior and got out of there.

Oh trust me I know all too well. Atlantic City is 45 mins away. If it wasnt for the fact of bars on the beach wouldn't even bother. Besides if I wanted to hang out with old people who cant afford shit, I'd take an extra shift at work. At least the payouts are guaranteed.Okeefenokee wrote:Even the casinos are sad as fuck. Public pensions are a cancer. The double-dipping that is common makes it even worse. People "retire" at 45 with a pension from place A, then get a job at place B for 10 years and get another pension. By 55-60 they are taking in multiple pensions for as many years as they ever worked. It's a racket and they all know it. Try to take even part of that away and you'll be able to hear the squealing from 100 miles away.
