Pretty much. I was listening to Martin's latest reflection pray/tell, and was struck by how in this day and age, so many young women looking for a man complain that they have a hard time finding "real" men. Men who can do things with their hands besides play video games, men who can hunt, fish, hang a door, change a tire, build things, etc...

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy my video games as much as anyone else, but there is a time for everything.

Same young women that have been taught not to need a man, and to be dismissive of masculinity. Modern western women are largely useless at domestic tasks, and unsupportive. Give me a good quiet evening alone on Steam any day.

Around here, not all young ladies are turquoise-haired shrieking femi-psychos. I'm blessed to have been married for 30 years, not my problem. But I see it with people my oldest son's age, he's in his mid 20's.

20 years ago I was guilty of Boomer-splaining to young people that I got married, had a family, bought a house, got a degree, no debt without any financial help. Not like that anymore, certainly not this century.
